THE TRIP
Aussenrum 2017 Mexico to Costa Rica
The plan was to ride from Mexico through Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia and Ecuador to Lima in Peru. The biggest challenge would have been the Darian Gap between Panama and Columbia.
Due to permanent bike problems and repairs we stranded in Costa Rica. Not enough time to do the shipment to Columbia in Panama. So we decided to leave the bikes in Costa Rica which was easier than in Panama. Next year we'll go on.
Aussenrum 2016 Canada to Mexico
from Vancouver we started 2016 and rode down all along the western coastline of the U.S. crossed the Mexican border in Tijuana and did the Baja California north to south.
Then we crossed the Mexican mainland to the eastern coast and ended up in Veracruz, MX.
Aussenrum 2015 Canada - Alaska - Canada
North America Roundtrip. We startet in Vancouver, head up North to Dawson, crossed the border to Alaska, travelled around Fairbanks and the Dalton Highway, passed former Mt. McKinley and rode back to Vancouver.
Aussenrum 2014 Road of Bones
The toughest trip we did until now. The legendary Road of Bones. Starting in Ulaanbaatar we rode through South Siberia direction Vladivostok. Just after Skorowodino we took the junction to Jakutsk and followed the "road" to Magadan.
Aussenrum 2013 Roundtrip Mongolia
Exploring Mongolia. Adventures in the Gobi Desert, camels, sand dunes, gers and the Oasis Cafè.
Aussenrum 2012 Kyrgyzstan to Mongolia
After the roundtrip in Central Asia we went on our route east via Kasachstan and Russia to Ulaanbaatar with loads of fun and vodka.
